Results for recruitment of Graduate teachers under Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) 2011

The Government of Manipur has declared the results for recruitment of Graduate teachers under Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA). According to a statement issued by the Department of Education Schools (RMSA) today, the DPC recommendation on the list of selected candidates has been approved by the Government.
The selection of the candidates is based on 85 points score for their academic performance and there are no marks for the interview. The total number of Graduate teachers selected is 503 against 536 vacant posts.
About 33 posts could not be filled as there are no eligible candidates.As per the reservation policy for Physically Challenged category (horizontal reservation), about 12 Physically challenged candidates have been selected. As per the policy, all the candidates from reserved categories who have not availed relaxation of age, but within the General merit have been included in the Unreserved vacancies, the statement explained.
Pointing out that some candidates have qualified for selection in more than one post as they applied for different posts, the statement of the Education Dept said that such candidates would be selected in one subject only based on their subjects at degree level and Honours or Core or Major subject at degree level.
