Mizoram University is a Central University being set up on modern standards with excellent academic infrastructure and research facilities including a Central Analytical
and Preparatory Facility consisting of sophisticated equipments. Mizoram is one of the most peaceful states in the country despite being located in the NER. Aizawl is connected by Air from Kolkatta and Guwahati (daily flights). Nearest railhead is at Silchar (180 km). The climate is mild both in summer and winter.
Teachers are provided hard furnished housing and Special Duty Allowance of 12.5% of Basic Pay + AGP besides all other Central allowances and NER concessions. A
Kendriya Vidyalaya is being set up for education of the children of employees.
Applications are invited for filling up of vacant Teaching posts under the University as tabled vide Annexure - I.
DETAILS OF THE VACANT POSTS
A. Pay Scale:
Professor : Rs. 37,400 – 67,000 + AGP 10,000/-
Associate Professor : Rs. 37,400 – 67,000 + AGP 9,000/-
Assistant Professor : Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 + AGP 6,000/-
Minimum qualification required for the above posts are as prescribed by UGC. For positions in School of Engineering & Technology / Dept. of Planning & Architecture,
UGC / AICTE / Council of Architecture (COA) norms shall also be applicable
