Librarian : 01 post (UR) (Pay Scale : Rs.16400-22400/-)
Executive Engineer (Electrical) : 01 post (UR) (Pay Scale : Rs.10000-15200/-)
Senior Library Information Assistant : 01 post (OBC-1) (Pay Scale : Rs.5500-9000/-)
Junior Engineer (Electrical) : 01 post (Pay Scale : Rs.5500-9000/-)
Junior Technician Superintendant : 06 posts (ST-1,UR-3, PH-2 UR) (Pay Scale : Rs.5500-900/-)
Junior Technician : 05 posts (SC-2,OBC-1,UR-2) (Pay Scale : Rs.3200-4900/-)
Junior Assistant (Library) : 03 posts (SC-1,PH-1 UR, UR-1) (Pay Scale : Rs.3200-4900/-)
Fee : DD of Rs. 50/- for the posts 3 to 7 and Rs. 100/- for post no. 1 to 2 only, drawn in favour of "The Registrar, IIT Kanpur" payable at SBI, IIT Kanpur. SC/ST and PH candidates not required to submit the demand draft.
