Applications are invited for the following posts under time bound adhoc research project
entitled "DBT Mission for Quality Planting Material Production and Utilization for
the Northeast", sponsored by Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India, New Delhi
as detailed below.
Hand written application alongwith photo copies of certificates/testimonials in support of age and educational qualifications with recent and
self attested passport size photograph of the candidates may be submitted during working hours to the
Senior Administrative Officer,
IBSD,
Imphal, Manipur
on or before
March 26, 2010.
The shortlisted candidates will be intimated for interview before the selection committee. The selection procedure will be strictly adhered to Govt. of India
norms.
* Junior Project Fellow (2)
M. Sc. Agriculture (Horticulture)/Life Sciences (Botany)/Biotechnology
Good exposure in plant tissue culture and molecular biological techniques are desired.
* Senior Technical Assistant (2)
M. Sc. Agriculture (Horticulture)/Life Sciences (Botany)/Biotechnology
Good exposure in plant tissue culture, molecular biological techniques and extension work are desired.
The above posts are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The selected candidates must not claim for regular appointment IBSD or DBT, New Delhi.Candidates
must produce the original certificates/ testimonials/ documents at the time of interview and should submit the photocopies. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
