Abstract: The subject of Dynamical Systems has been changing since mankind started to comprehend the physical world. First, mankind observe the heavenly bodies such as Sun, Moon, Stars and Planets and gave theories/axioms.
The first such recognizable theory was the geocentric theory of Ptolemy. Ptolemy’s theory was regarded as the principle of motion of heavenly bodies and rule since first century AD till Copernicus’s theory came into existence in late fifteen century and early sixteen century. Copernicus’s theory is termed as heliocentric theory.
In late Sixteen century and early seventeen century, Kepler proposed his celebrated axioms of planetary motion. It is one of the first quantitative, precise and mathematically rigorous theories. In late seventeen century, Newton with his new Mathematical tool Calculus, revolutionized the subject of dynamics. Newton’s theory rule for three centuries. Jules Henri Poincare, in late nineteen century and early twentieth century proposed qualitative and topological theory of dynamical systems.
