3 Ph.D. Fellowships at the Department of Social Anthropology
The Department of Social Anthropology, University of Bergen, has three (3) vacant PhD positions. The scolarship period is set to 3 years for all of these.
The positions are part of the ERC-funded project “Egalitarianism: Forms, Processes, Comparisons”. The project is a cross-cultural enquiry into contemporary egalitarian imaginaries and processes with an attention to their constraints and paradoxes. The core of the research team is currently centred around the Principal Investigator, Professor Bruce Kapferer and Associate Professor Bjørn Enge Bertelsen. A combined coordinator/researcher position as well three PhD fellowships and two Postdoctoral fellowships are in the process of being appointed.
