Penguin Random House India, the country's leading English language trade publisher, is delighted to host the first edition of Penguin Fever 2017 - Delhi’s favourite literary and cultural festival, in Shillong on 9th December 2017.

GRAVITY
Penguin Fever, a one-of-a-kind celebration of books, reading, music, and culture presents a great opportunity for Shillong audiences to interact with authors. It is the first festival of its kind organized by an Indian publisher. Hosted at The Heritage Club, the programme includes readings, discussions, interactive presentations, poetry and an open mic poetry competition in collaboration with colleges across the city, the day will end with live music by local band ‘Gravity’. At this festival we will also offer audiences previews of two much awaited forthcoming books by the authors – Ankush Saikia and Snigdha Poonam.

Penguin Fever Shillong is open and free for all, we welcome everyone to join us in this celebration of books, reading and writing!
