Outrage grows, Home Minister intervenes

As outrage over the deaths of two students from the North East -- Dana Sangma & Richard Loitam -- grows, the chorus for a thorough probe into thier deaths is growing louder. With the Meghalaya Chief Minister demanding a CBI probe, Home Minister P Chidambaram has assured a CBI probe will be ordered if state governments do not act.
