One dead in Imphal as series of IED attacks continue

Rebels have hit in Manipur’s capital Imphal once again on 12 November Monday evening in which one civilian was killed and one was seriously injured.
A powerful Improvised Explosive Device (IED) explosion took place near the Tiddim Ground in the outskirts of Imphal. Eyewitnesses claimed that the IED which was rigged in a pile of garbage near the Imphal College main gate exploded at around 5:15 pm killing 40-year-old Aleen Kom and seriously injuring Chongpu Kom, both hailing from Sagang Village in Bishnupur District.
