No written invitation for talks: NSCN (K)
Nagaland Post | Dimapur, Nov 24 (NPN)
Reacting to reports in a section of local dailies that talk between NSCN (K) and the government of India was likely to begin in January, an NSCN (K) source Saturday clarified that no definite time frame has been set for the same. Speaking to Nagaland Post, the source also reiterated NSCN (K)’s earlier position that they were ready to embark on a bilateral dialogue provided the government of India gave the organization a “written invitation”.
NSCN (K) has also taken another stance that it would begin negotiation with government of India only after “a factional solution” was arrived at between NSCN (I-M) and government of India.
