NE states fail to submit utilization certificates worth crores

Northeastern states, which get grants-in-aid from the Centre under non-lapsable central pool of resources (NLCPR) scheme, have failed to submit utilization certificates (UC) worth crore of rupees.
DoNER minister Paban Singh Ghatowar said in the Lok Sabha that the outstanding utilization certificates and unspent balances till June was worth Rs. 748.27 cr.

Arunachal Pradesh Rs 160.38 cr,
Assam Rs 107.95 cr,
Manipur Rs 65.77 cr,
Meghalaya Rs 97.58 cr,
Mizoram Rs 71.69 cr,
Nagaland Rs 61.33 cr
Sikkim Rs 85.93 cr
Tripura Rs 35.1 cr
