NE is 8th biodiversity 'hotspot' in the world: Chotisüh

Northeastern region is one of the areas with the richest bio-resources and is the 8th biodiversity “hotspot” in the world. This was stated by parliamentary secretary for social welfare and child development, Chotisüh Sazo.
Chotisüh said that though it was the home and origin place of many species of flora and fauna, the people still remained poor with the richest available natural resources which were yet to be fully tapped. He also reminded that the people of the region lacked the “attitude and the will”.
