Mukul woos IT companies to invest in North East

Meghalaya Chief Minister Mukul Sangma said today that Information Technology companies stand to gain commercially by setting up their assets here in the North East because of cost-effective rental rates and abundant work force.
Inaugurating a day-long conference on IT development dubbed, “Meghabytes” and organised by the State Information Technology department, Sangma said, the cost of setting up business houses in big cities and metros comes with a high price tag and also high manpower cost.
