Motsillaba Mingsel
(The Tainted Mirror)
Winner of Special Jury Award at 13th Manipur State Film Awards , 2020
How long will we continue the consuming of harmful chemicals in the name of eating vegetables?
Or are we eating it for our ultimate death?
This is a sort of gift given by those parents who only think for themselves to their one and only son, Chaoren.
Their gruesome thinking and ways of life pollutes the bright mind and the beautiful heart of Chaoren, who will become a strong pillar for the future.
Chaoren’s clear heart will become a tainted mirror.
Is this the gift that we are presenting to our coming generations?

One day, Chaoren heard a conversation between his parents that, the vegetables that they are going to sell in the market, can contain chemicals and pesticides, which will not cause themselves any problems, and they do not care about the health of the consumers.
Chaoren took his parent’s mindsets and gave the chemical fed vegetables to one of his friend at a football camp.
His lovely friend did not come the very next day.
Chaoren smiled with joy.
