God couldn't be everywhere therefore He made mothers
Rudyard Kipling

Mothers are angels in disguise sent from heaven to watch and help us through our troublesome times. They show their love in a million different ways every day. A mother is someone who can take place of all others but whose place no one can take. She is someone who holds our hand just for a short while but one who holds our heart forever. She is someone who loves us unconditionally more than her life itself. She has many defining traits, unconditional love and support and being a good role model. She is someone who gave us life, who knows us inside and out, the savior, the only person in this world who can do anything for us. Mother is our true friend and a person who loves us without any expectation.

No matter how much we hurt and irritate and don't appreciate our mothers, they still love us. They accept us for who we are even though we aren't necessarily the best people we could be. She is someone who would run a thousand miles just to get what we want. Whatever we are right or wrong, from her viewpoint we are always right all because of her love and the reason why I believe in love at first sight is because I love my mother ever since I opened my eyes. Her heart is like a rare jewel. And it is full of love. Her love is the greatest love in the world, unconditional, sacrificial and priceless. She is our closest friend.

A mother is the sweetest woman, an angel from heaven, most revered, honored and respected on earth. She is the font and spring of our life, our consolation in sorrow, our hope in misery and our strength in weakness. No language can ever express the power, beauty, heroism and majesty of a mother's love which does not shrink where the man cowers but grows stronger where man faints and over the wastes of worldly fortune sends the radiance of its quenchless fidelity like a star in heaven. And here goes a short story, and this story is told of a mother's priceless love.

Once a little boy came up to his mother in the kitchen one evening while she was fixing supper, and handed her a piece of paper that he had been writing on. After his mom dried her hands in an apron, she read it, and this is what it said:-
"For cutting the grass: Rs. 5
For cleaning up my room this week: Rs. 5
For gong to the store for you: Rs. 5
Taking care of my little brother while you went shopping: Rs. 25
Taking out the garbage: Rs. 5
For getting a good report card: Rs. 10
For cleaning up and raking the yard: Rs. 10
Total owed: Rs. 65

Well, his mother looked at him standing there, and the boy could see the memories flashing through her mind. She picked up the pen, turned over the paper he'd written on, and this is what she wrote:-
For nine months I carried you while you were growing inside me: No charge
For all the nights that I've sat up with you, doctored and prayed for you; No charge
For all the trying times, and all the tears that you've caused throughout the years: No charge
For all nights that were filled with dread and for the worries I knew were ahead: No charge
For the toys, food, clothes, and even wiping your nose: No charge
Son, when you add it up, the cost of my love is: NO CHARGE

When the boy finished reading what his mother had written, tears filled his eyes, and he looked straight at his mother and said, 'Mom, I sure do love you.' And then took the pen and in great big letters he wrote: PAID IN FULL"

And this story clearly tells us how much our mother loves us and shows the boundless and priceless love given out from her heart full of love. Her love is greater than the ocean, the universe and nothing can replace it.

And the reason why in most love stories we find that mother agrees but father don't, is because mother knows what love is, but most fathers know only what life is. Mothers at all times shouldn't be neglected and ill treated. They are to be honored, respected, cared, treasured and loved.

I personally would like to request all the fathers not to let our mothers cry, because God counts her tears. Biblically speaking, a woman came out of a man's rib. And not from his feet to be walked on, neither from his head to be superior ever, but, from his side, to be equal, under the arms to be protected, next to the heart to be loved.

A Research says that a human body can bear only 45 dol (unit) of pain. But at the time of giving birth a mother feels up to 57 dol (unit) of pain which is similar to 20 bones getting fractured all at the same time. And I'm sharing this just to tell the extent to which a mother loves her child, suffering so much pain just to give us a beautiful and terrific life.

She is someone who went through an excruciating pain just to bring us to the world. Can you all imagine it now the mother's pain and love? Our mothers struggled for us. Cried over us, fought for us, put herself second for us and hoped the best for us but has never asked for anything in return all because mother's heart is full of love.

This article is a tribute to every mother for their boundless love, care and concern. It would be very challenging for you all mothers, at times when our behavior seems horrid, we apologize for those times and we thank you so much for all the love, warm hugs and sweet tender kisses.

May God bless all the Mothers with good health of mind and body and long life so that they will be able receive the price of their love from us, their children. And a special thanks to my mom for raising me up to more than I can be.

Bless you all.
