Manipur villagers enforce indefinite bandh

Angry Manipur villagers have imposed an indefinite bandh on the Imphal-Ukhrul road today demanding immediate arrest and punishment of miscreants who damaged more than two dozen houses and shops besides looting valuable items.
The decision to call the indefinite bandh was reportedly taken at a public meeting of villagers of Gwaltabi and its neighbouring villages, sources said.
