Manipur duo hope for best
The Telegraph | Kausav Baruah | Guwahati, Sept. 16:
Despite going down to Australia in the hockey final of the recent Glasgow Commonwealth Games, the duo from Manipur — Kothajit Singh and Chinglensana Singh — are quite optimistic about the team’s prospects at the Asian Games at Incheon in South Korea from September 19 to October 4.
“We are doing well currently, which is the reason behind an unchanged team for the Asian Games. Our confidence level is high and our focus would be not to repeat those mistakes we committed in Glasgow Commonwealth Games. We have had team meetings as well as individual discussions with the coach which have helped us a lot,” said Chinglensana Singh.
