MLA forum biased : NNC
The Telegraph | Kohima, Oct. 18:
A statement issued by NNC acting president Z. Royim Yimchungru on the 60th anniversary of Naga National Martyrs’ Day today, stated that politicians speak about inclusiveness and reaching out to all Naga groups, but in reality their approach was just the opposite.
Royim said the Forum would fail just like the Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR).The FNR — which is headed by Baptist clergyman Rev. Wati Aier and is supported by several organisations worldwide, including the state government, — has been trying to broker peace between Naga rebel groups.
“The NNC must say that the biggest question is who will really and honestly bring all Naga political groups together in reality for a final settlement,” Royim said.
