Applications are invited for M.A. Social Work in Child Rights (Online Programme), 2013-15
India is home to the largest child population in the world. The emerging and continuing vulnerabilities of children in diverse situations remain a critical concern. Working with children should be prioritized at individual, family and societal levels. There is an urgent need for people concerned about or working with children to address this situation. In this context, a Masters level training in social work which focuses on child rights is necessary to address the challenge of creating more trained people.
The online M.A. Social Work in Child Rights is the first of its kind in India. It aims at reaching out to the field practitioners to study at a postgraduate level thus enhancing their capacity of child rights social work.
Special features of the programme Comprehensive focus on Child Rights. Flexible mode of learning through an online medium. Exclusively meant for practitioners working with children and families. Practice based curriculum.
Eligibility criteria: Graduate with minimum 2 years of work experience with children or families. Currently employed in the field of children or families. Proficient in computer skills
