Legislators will not resign till 'arrangement' announced: Azheto
Nagaland Post | Dimapur, Dec 12 (NPN)
MLA and advisor sericulture and cooperation, Azheto Zhimomi Wednesday said state legislators would not resign from their positions till the government of India comes up with an alternative arrangement to solve the Naga political issue.
Azheto said if the government of India asked Nagaland legislators to pave the way, then they would do so, however, if not, assembly election would be held as per schedule. He said Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) members, cutting across political lines formed the Joint Legislators Forum (JLF) and decided to facilitate “peace and solution” as desired by the Nagas.
