Nagaland Post | Imphal, Oct 17
Amom Rajen, who worked as a teacher in a private school in a place called Emlipara, Chattisgarh was found dead in a place just 10 metres away from Cossipara Police Station which is about 10 km away from Howrah railway station in West Bengal on September 27 in a mysterious manner. Amom Rajen is a resident of Kumbi Terakhong Makha Leikai of Bishnupur district of Manipur.
His wife is also a teacher of the same school in which Rajen was working. A Joint Action Committee (JAC) for Unnatural Death of Amom Rajen Singh imposed a 24 hour bandh today, starting from 5 am till 5 am of Thursday against the government`s failure to meet the demands of the JAC. The bandh, however, failed to evoke people’s response as there was no shadow of bandh across the state.
