JOB DISCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities:
o Manage accounts and meet or exceed targets relating to revenue growth, activities, profit margin, mix of
products and services sales, customer retention and customer acquisition.
o Adhere to all quality standards and processes, for the acquisition of customers, opportunities and submission of tender and contract documents.
o Bid management processing and manage order levels maintaining the CRM database
o Provide regular feedback to senior management about marketplace and competitor activity
o Develop effective working relationships with customers through regular meetings and identify and obtain further sales and business development opportunities
o Work with and Group marketing to develop marketing campaigns to support Sales Strategy. Generate new business and raise awareness of other company products.
o Identify requirements for new products & services to anticipate and potentially lead the market.
o Apply Company wide project management standards in preparing bids and contracts, responding to customer needs and managing the sales process from opportunity identification to customer sign off.
o Undertake regular project reviews with all involved in these processes to ensure transfer of knowledge
Duties and Responsibilities
o Professionally and effectively employs sales skills to achieve targeted sales.
o Increase the level of sales and business mix from individual clients
o Increase share of each market sector
o Research and Database
o Maintain an accurate and current database
o Identify and develop sources of potential clients
o Effectively communicate with clients to gain commitment to purchase
o Maintain regular contact with Key Clients
o Effectively communicate with clients via telephone, face-to-face and written communication
o Develop and maintain relationships which benefit both client
o Overcome client resistance/objections to products
o Advise Managing Director and Sales and Marketing Director of client
o Feedback/comments relating to product content and pricing as well as company performance
o Provide a weekly schedule of planned activities
o Achieve sales activities within specified time scales as directed by Managing Director and Group Sales and Marketing Director.
o Targeted tele-sales campaigns to achieve sales
o Be able to match appropriate products to clients' requirements.
o Be able to demonstrate a full knowledge of all products, relevant selling points and benefits
o Maintain a current and accurate knowledge of competitor products, be able to highlight their disadvantages and promote relevant benefits
o Keep abreast of competitor activity and recommend any necessary tactical action
o Maintain a current and accurate knowledge of products
o Provide time-phased, qualified reports on achievement and activities
o Plan diary to make effective use of working day
o Maintain accurate records of all contacts with clients
o Handle correspondence related to all selling activities
o Maintain high standard of personal presentation
o Represent in a professional manner at all times
o Liaise with other members of Sales Team to actively promote sales opportunities, exchange information and increase professionalism
o Undertake all responsibilities with reference to procedures.
Qualification:
Business Development Manager: MBA/Graduate (minimum 1 years of exp. With IT knowledge)
