Times of India | TNN | Sep 2, 2012, 11.40AM IST
An Imphal-based organisation formed to protest against the alleged murder of a Manipuri student in Chandigarh has threatened to launch a stir if the government fails to expose the truth behind the incident and arrest the culprits within five days. This incident comes a few months after came Loitam Richard, another Manipuri student, was found murdered inside his college hostel in Bangalore on April 18.
The decomposed body of Pangabam Rabi, a BSc second year student in Chandigarh Government College and a resident of Khurai Ningthoubung Leikai in Imphal East, was found in a jungle near Khuda Lahora in the Punjab city on Wednesday. He had gone missing from his rented house close to the spot on August 25.
