A civil society coalition of human rights organisations in Manipur is set to approach the international community against the ongoing economic blockade imposed by the United Naga Council (UNC) on the state's supply lines.
We are drafting representations to be sent to the United Nation's member countries to take up the issue of human rights violation due to choking of supplies of daily essential commodities," Babloo Loitongbam, a spokesperson for the Civil Society Coalition for Human Rights in Manipur and UN told The Telegraph.
