GoI-NSCN (R) set to ink cease-fire
Nagaland Post | Tinakali Sümi | Dimapur, Apr 24
NSCN/GPRN (Reformation), led by Y. Wangtin Naga and P. Tikhak, is all set to sign a cease-fire agreement with government of India on April 27. Talking to Nagaland Post over phone, Wangtin Naga, who is currently camping in Delhi, said that NSCN(R) was all set to sign a cease-fire agreement and also discussed some important points for the proposed cease-fire ground rules (CFGR).
Wangtin said he would represent NSCN (R) along with kilonsers- P. Tikhak and Thopevezu Chakhesang along with four others. He reiterated that signing a cease fire did not mean giving up on sovereignty, since all Naga political groups (NPGs) reaffirmed Naga sovereignty even after signing cease-fires with government of India.
