Seven-day Faculty Development Programme at Department of Mass Communication and Journalism, Tezpur University
The Department of Mass Communication and Journalism, Tezpur University is organizing a week long Faculty Development Programme on Participatory Communication during 5-11 August, 2013.
Aim
The overall aim of the FDP is sensitization and capacity building of media educators towards advocating curricular reorientation for facilitating the creation of a more enabling and participatory media environment in North-east India.
Who can participate?
Faculty members from communication departments in universities situated in north-east India can participate.
Total Seats : 15 (Fifteen) and maximum 2 (two) faculty members from one university can participate.
Last date for registration : 15 July, 2013
Important notes:
o No registration fees will be charged from participants as the FDP is organized as a UNICEF supported project
o No TA/DA will be provided for attending the FDP
o Accommodation on twin-sharing basis will be provided by the organizers at the university guest house
o Participants are requested to send a copy of their latest/current syllabus along with their registration form
o Participants are expected to reach the venue a day ahead of the commencement of the FDP.
o No leave will be granted to participants between the programme sessions.
