Existence
Thokchom Dhanashree*
It is there i see
Empty waveshollow streams.
Overflow from your sight
I try to hold it back
But unable to judgenor explain
The tide in your eyes.
Then i wait
For words to fall down from your lips.
I wished for honey drops
To take care of my falling hopes
And become wealthy forever.
I wished to cherish
That erupts in you
That longingness at the shore of my life.
But i owe the blow
And feel to run in the tide
As friend to share the uneven.
Those were bitter storms in you
Those were giant waves not gleaming ripples,
Your caresses had brought me
To the state of forgetfulness
In hours and years.
Dressed in splendid apparel
But full of callous underneath
That you were suffering
As much as i do-
I stood all alone
In the storm of present and furure.
I am still in strength
To break the odds into tranqulity
To read the flutteringmoves
May be not with much splendour.
Wishing the future may never send
Such seasons of divergence,
Now carrying on living
I give in myself.
