Donation of Rs 1,00,000 to the CM’s Covid-19 Relief Fund by MCPCR
Manipur Commission For Protection of Child Rights, MCPCR is a Statutory Body established on 12th Nov, 2012. MCPCR is empowered by the Commission for Protection of Child Rights Act (CPCR Act), 2005 to
monitor the entitlement to rights and safeguard for children provided in the constitution and the laws of the country and under section 13, I (J), to enquire into complaints and take suo motu notice of matters relating to
i) deprivation and violation of Child Rights, ii) Non-implementation of laws providing for protection and development of children and iii) Non-compliance of policy decisions, guidelines or instructions aimed at
mitigating hardships to and ensuring welfare of the children and to provide relief to such children or take up the issues arising out of such matters with appropriate authorities.
As the world is presently struggling with coronavirus chaos, the govt of India had declared Covid-19 a “notified disaster” in addition to the countrywide lockdown for 21 days as announced by Prime Minister
Modi for containing the spread of the deadly coronavirus.
Thus, to help the weaker sections of the society especially children in Child Care Institutions (CCIs) and to combat the health crisis, MCPCR would like to donate Rs 1,00,000/- (Rupees One lakh only) in Chief
Minister’s Covid-19 Relief Fund A/c No. 70600875695, Manipur State Co-op Bank Ltd.
