Cyber and mobile-related crimes rising in Manipur

Cyber and mobile related crimes against women is on the rise. According to a local NGO, in two of every four cases men in uniform are involved.
This figure was released by Sobita Mangsatabam, secretary of Women Action for Development (WAD) at a consultative meeting for the editors and journalists held at Imphal Hotel on Friday. The one-day consultative meeting which was attended by several senior media personnel, and journalists discussed the “role of media in eliminating violence against women in Manipur”.
