Couselling centre for girl students of the Northeast
Seven Sisters Post | Guwahati (Sept 24):
The North East Girl Students’ Association (NEGSA) on Monday inaugurated a counselling centre for girl students and women of the region. NEGSA which came into existence in 1998, with this initiative will work to ease the various problems being faced by the womenfolk of the region.
The counselling centre will also cater to the girls’ personal and career related problems and it will be free of cost. Parliamentary secretary of the state education department Rekibuddin Ahmed who formally inaugurated the counselling cell assured all possible help from the government. NEGSA also launched their official website www.negsa.org.
