Problems Of Manipur Solve by Educational Revolution "The Need of the Hour" by Surendrajit Ningombam voice a frustrated appeal, which everyone understands yet doesn't know how to act on their understandings.
I would probably assume that (I would like my assumption to be wrong) whoever writes for the betterment of the
public expresses his/her thoughts with a bit of deviation from the originality (quite understandable) to make it more presentable.
For instance, If 10 candidates during an examination, have to write on corruption, they would obviously write the bad affects
and would suggest no one to go for it. However, if the chances of being selected in the exam are only through a bit of fat over
their ability, I see competition and skills exercise of routing those fats. "Survival of the fittest" should we called this?
We live in two societies, the real and the virtual ideal society.
People tend to talk more about the virtual and exercise more on the real one. It is the gap between those 2 men created society,
which is troubling the creator. "To err is human", has someone heard this? I heard it and I know its very true.
The question is how good are we in acknowledging the error? I can only talk for myself, I am too good comparing to a majority of
the people I have come across but not good enough to say, "I am good".
Should I call myself good? I don't know, maybe this is what everyone feels. The whole idea of comparison and competition seems
to revolve around too many competitors. Ideally competition is between 2 or multiple individuals but then would it make sense
to conduct without a benchmark? Imagine a competition of good eyesight where all the competitors are blind.
The concept of competition and comparison should and always start from an individual level and within always.
I am the only one who knows what I think, what I do and what is right ideally and what am I doing which is not right,
what mistake I have committed, what can I do, what have I done and how much it affects other well being etc. etc.
It is important to set your own goals before you take it out to share with others. It is even more important to understand
the gap between where you are and where you attempt to be, that's where we usually go wrong and lot of times finds it surprising to accept the gap.
That's where the disease starts. This disease is characterized by a symptoms call "Shortcut route search" and uncontrolled
shortcut route symptoms with a bit of encouraging agent called impatience or greed would take this
disease to the next stage.
The interesting part is, the encouraging agent, which plays a critical role, is known and accepted widely as "BAD" by everyone.
The present scenario scripted by Tamo/Enao Surendrajit directs the cause to power and money and suggest
remedies as educational revolution. I think it is needless to say power and money would always be there as long as human race exist.
The problem is "abuse" of very important key functions of society.
Definition of power implies (most of the definition) to " a capacity for control or force". As a matter of
fact each individual in a society has to have a capacity for control or force. It's a requirement and this requirement is
carried out with an amount of logical facts or a good rational process.
We are no GOD, as I have said, "to err is human", we at times can't make things happen certainly the way it should
but a sensible approach (uncertain but sensible) does pave way for corrective actions and preventive
measures.
We have too many categories in power; one of the most important one is the power to control the
power you have. Power is called a power only when it comes with rationality or else it is absurd
discrimination of mankind and you may want to give any name you like.
One of the interesting fact is, the degree to which someone has power is the degree to which you give it
to him or her. There would be hundred and one reason why you had to give it and it is also important to
understand if the reason is within the circle of rationality.
You may give power to someone because you like him, because of their position, because they or
he offer you something you want, you are afraid of punishment or consequences they impose on you
(coercive power), convince you to see things from his or her point of view etc. etc.
There would be at times or most of the times (in our current situation) forces compelling you to forfeit your power of
withstanding from a wrongly driven coercive powers and it is sad to say that we all are engulf to such a norms from the
grass root level.
It is hard to give a practical solution and we may not have the liberty of assuming a theoretical approach to fit it our solution. The
solution lies at a very basic level, acceptance of what am I doing basis the projected epitome of a good society.
Power will go; power will come, as individual, as group, as good, as bad. The essence of a society is to learn from what has gone
and be prepared for what is going to come, welcome good, prevent bad and all this is to be done at a individual
level to make it a group and a group to a society.
Rationality and power are analytically inseparable from each other to bring a good society.
Education is nothing but common sense lay out as guidance for the society to deal with situation and to
be able to make changes and lead to a better place with a changing society.
We have something (I wouldn't want to call it education) that is taking care of this in Manipur but the only difference is it
aims at a different magnitude of "better" (If better had been an individual he wouldn't like this).
After spitting on my own face for making such a remark I wouldn't be ashamed to come up with a wandering thought (after all
its my playground) that doesn't really fit well but may be expressed as an unstoppable thoughts. I seem to be confused with education and the academic attainment.
Has someone ever ask if Academic Laurels are educated being? I am not surprised to find Academic Laurels abusing Powers.
I find my above thoughts too broad to fit in, for a question that triggered an immediate answer.
Probably I am one among those who thinks and observe a lot but practically a half image of the thoughts. That's an
acceptance I make.
