Civil Servants to contribute for food security in Ukhrul

In an act of yeoman service to the society, 2006-batch of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers have committed to contribute Rs. 500 each towards food security of the people in Ukhrul district, Manipur.
The announcement on Wednesday came from deputy commissioner of Ukhrul R. Sudhan, who belongs to 2006-batch of IAS, during his address as chief guest of the Distribution and Exhibition Day of Women Bread Winners’ Union (WBWU) organized at Greenland Community Hall.
