Childhood The Anamnesis
Shongminthang Haokip *
Intense nostalgia, every grown up hanker for
Childhood, innocent days of carefree age;
Mommy was the only lady loved heartily,
Afraid not for none as daddy was the
strongest man ever thought of all.
Piteous cried for trifling demand, a sincere wept sincerely
Knew not crocodile tears as heart was pure;
Nourished like a to be feed young bird in her nest,
I was in seven heaven is the word to memorize
Oops! In memory only I relish such a happy day now
Swift silently is the time day and night
Wait not my days to cheer any longer,
O lovely childhood days, where did you steals?
Reminiscence my unforgettable memories was,
Pined those days of loved and cared I was, calling me cute
Neighbors, teasing me a lovely baby boy.
They pinched on my nose and cheek to see my lovely smile,
Where those neighbors gone? Some died and others old
No longer their presents I feel neither my beckon cares;
I feel like drowning in the ocean leaving me alone
Somebody come and take me away to those exuberant days,
Life is changing fast and short creating only memories
Oh! Today is history my yesterday diary taught
And tomorrows is in me, my big dream instructs
Childhood days; I cannot reckon as tomorrow and today
For heart burst out into tears to delineate...
Stripling sounds heyday as childhood inculcates sentimental.
