Case against 129 terminated teachers registered
Nagaland Post | Imphal, Oct. 25:
After 93 terminated teachers of schools autonomous district councils were alleged of manipulating their signatures in attendance registers to claim their backlog salaries in a case registered at Churachandpur police station, one more case against another group 129 terminated teachers were lodged in Senapati district on the same charge.
On October 23, a case against 129 teachers who had served in schools under Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council of Senapati district was registered at Kangpokpi police station of the same district. In the case registered under section 420 (cheating)/468 (forgery for the purpose of cheating)/120-B (criminal conspiracy) of IPC, the teachers were alleged of manipulating their attendance registers to claim their due salaries from July 2007 to February 2009.
