CME on 'Congenital Heart Diseases' organised on 30th June, 2018
A CME on "Congenital Heart Diseases" was organised by Manipur Heart Foundation in association with SKY Hospital and Research Centre, Imphal at Sangai Hall, Hotel Imphal on 30th June, 2018 Saturday at 07.00 p.m. The program was held on the topics:
1. Intervention in Acyanotic Congenital Heart Disease – Timing and Mode of Intervention.
2. Intervention in Cyanotic Congenital Heart Disease. Timing and Mode of Intervention.
Dr. S. Radhakrishnan MD; DM(AIIMS), Director & HOD, Consultant Paediatric Interventional Cardiologist, Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, New Delhi and Dr. C.S. Muthu Kumaran, MBBS, MRCPCH, D.Ch, CCST (Paediatric – UK) HOD, Consultant Paediatric Interventional Cardiologist, Appollo Children's Hospitals, Chennai attended as resource persons of the function.
Dr. Shyamkumar Laishram, MD (AIIMS), Paediatric, Senior Consultant – Imphal Hospital & Research Centre, President East Zone Academy of Paediatrics, Executive Body Member, Central – IAP and Dr. L. Shyamkishore Singh, MD; DM (AIIMS), MRCP (UK), FRCP (London); British Clinical Excellence Award Winner, Chief Cardiologist & Chairman, SKY Group of Hospitals; President of Manipur Heart Foundation attended as Chairpersons of the function.
The programme was followed by Question hour. Different medical practitioners from different districts of Manipur had aroused different questions to clarify their doubts to the resource persons.
The program ended with a vote of thanks from Dr. L. Shyamkishore Singh, President of Manipur Heart Foundation.
