Bangla not to allow NE ultras to use its soil

Bangladesh has iterated that it would not allow Indian insurgents to use its soil for anti-Indian activities amid reports of existence of NE insurgent hideouts in the country, a top BSF official said here today.
The assurance came at the four-day BSF-Border Guards Bangladesh (BGB) level meeting held in Sylhet and Dhaka recently. Various border issues including trans-border movement of insurgents, smuggling of narcotic items and infiltration came up for discussion in the meetings, which commenced on November 5.
