Autumnal Aroma
Parthajit Borah *
Soft falling shower often rants
the moonlight over the proposal
of the ocean.
Western wind chased the white
clouds in respite.
Blooming buds of the garden
drenched in the whirlpool of happiness.
Pregnant emotions of the earth
agitated for the eruption of grief.
Heart was boiling some dreams in the pot of raw longings
to ink green
letters in my pale heart.
Fluctuating movements of the long reeds sued the insane
waves to feel blue.
Nature wore the apron of autumn
for weaving new hopes in becoming
the darling of the earth.
