Assam CM reiterates opposition to Greater Nagalim

Conceding that some disturbing elements were still trying to create trouble in the State, Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi clarified Assam’s position on the ongoing dialogue with the NSCN (I-M), declaring that the State wants emotional integration but not territorial assimilation.
Reiterating his opposition to the demand for greater Nagaland, Gogoi said: “I very much for emotional integration but opposed to territorial integration. Assam wants peace and stability in Nagaland. The only problem is creation of greater Nagaland.
