Aliens swarming Northeast Region : Rio
Nagaland Post | Kohima Nov 28
Asserting Northeast Region (NER) was facing the threat of being overrun by illegal immigrants, chief minister Rio Wednesday said influx of illegal immigrates has changed the demography of the region and polluted rich culture and heritage of its people.
The chief minister acknowledged the student leaders for serving the cause of the people and for playing a crucial and contributory role in the social, political and economic landscape of the region, especially against illegal immigrants. Pointing out that if culture was lost, people would lose their identity, Rio said it was the responsibility of every citizen to preserve their own tradition, protect heritage and save the population from being run over by illegal immigrants.
