ASI to unveil Northeast's rich heritage
Seven Sisters Post | Guwahati (Nov 2):
The Northeast will get a chance to have more properties forming the part of cultural and natural heritage in the list of world heritage site, if Archeological Survey of India, (ASI) Guwahati circle has its way.
In a bid to expose the rich heritage of the region, the ASI, Guwahati circle is going to conduct a zonal workshop o n November 3, 2012 focusing on review of existing and proposed properties on the tentative list in the seven sisters — Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Meghalaya.
