Reschedule the proposed NEET PG counselling in Manipur

Medical students stranded outside Manipur wrote to the Hon’ble CM Shri N Biren Singh to support in rescheduling the proposed NEET PG counselling in Manipur.
Amidst the nationwide lockdown announced the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi Ji. The Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India issued Notification of schedule of Round 1 of NEET PG Counselling 2020 for states on 17/04/2020 at the MEDICAL COUNSELING COMMITTEE (MCC) website directing the State counselling authorities to conduct the Counselling sessions from 20th April 2020 till 4th May 2020.
Respecting the guidelines and the travel advisories issued by the Government of India to control the outbreak of COVID 19 in the country.
10 Manipuri Medical students(Dr.Ingudam Mahendra Singh (New Delhi) ,Dr. Arambam Carol (Guwahati) , Dr. Khuraijam Asha Devi (Shillong ) ,Dr. Yumnam Ramesh Singh (Shillong) ,Dr. Waikhom Shinthoileima Chanu, (Shillong) ,Dr. Makakmayum Rukshana , (New Delhi ),Dr. Momota Wahengbam, (Guwahati ) Dr. Monika Nahakpam, (Shillong )Dr. Shafiullah Muhamed , (Guwahati) ,Dr. Uma Thounaojam, (New Delhi ) currently stranded outside the state shared that It would be very difficult to travel from one state to another for attending the said counselling session during the nationwide lockdown, as some of the students are residing currently on the Hotspots COVID-19 areas of the metro cities.
Given, the state issued guidelines concerning mitigate the Pandemic of COIVID-19 under the leadership of Hon’ble CM Shri N Biren Singh.
The students requested the Hon’ble Chief CM to kindly intervene and reconsider to Re-schedule round 1 state NEET PG counselling 2020 in Manipur until normalcy resumes in the country or suggest possible arrangements to resolve the issues.

At the outset, we appreciate the efforts and measures taken up by the Government of India to prevent and check the spread of COVID-19.
With humble respect, we write this letter to seek your attention towards the Notice issued by the Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India
Regarding the Notification of schedule of Round 1 of NEET PG Counselling 2020 for states.

I have enclosed the notice uploaded on 17/04/2020 at the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) website. Please find the same.
The aforementioned notice directs the State counselling authorities to conduct the Counselling sessions from 20th April 2020 till 4th May 2020.
