Imphal, June 29 2009: Continuing the protest demonstration against detention of student activists under NSA in connection with the murder of Prof Islamuddin, members of the Women Development Association, Naransena, Sunu Siphai Nupi Yaipha Lup and Phubala Apunba Nupi staged protest demonstrations at Naransena, Sunu Siphai and Phubala.

The protesters demanded release of the arrested student activists.

Medical camp: 29 AR organised a medical camp at Bongli village.

225 patients from Bungmol, Kulyang, Khoibu Khullen and adjoining villages were treated and provided medicines, said an AR press release.
