Imphal, August 27 2009: A grenade was hurled at the RIMS Road residence of Dr Pardeshi at about 7.15 pm today.

Dr Pardeshi is currently working at Chamber Hospital.

However, the grenade lobbed by some unidentified persons failed to blow off.

Notably, a grenade exploded near the entrance to Chamber Hospital in the morning of August 21.There persons sustained injuries in the explosion.

Earlier, Cheirap Court complex was also attacked with a gasolene bomb at about 6.50 am by some unknown miscreants.

There is no report of any casualty.
