Imphal, March 08, 2010: An accused in the murder case of one Md Abdul Kalam (53) s/o late Ahsrak Ali of Ahmedabad, Jiri has been pulled up by Meira Paibis of Chingdong Leikai, Jiri, reports our correspondent.

The alleged killer identified as Mutum Inaoton (26) s/o late Madhop of Chingdong Leikai has been handed over to Jiribam police.

It is reported that Inaoton together with one Haobam Tomba (25) of the same locality killed Md Abdul Kalam in the night of February 5.Haobam Tomba is still absconding.

Meanwhile, the JAC Against the Killing of Abdul Kalam has claimed the corpse of Abdul kalam from Jiri police station following an agreement with the local administration.

Before claiming the corpse, the JAC organised a protest rally from Lalpani to ADC office.
