Imphal, June 02 2009: Unidentified miscreants have lobbed a Chinese made hand grenade around 9 tonight at the entrance gate of the residence of Hiyanglam GP, Elangbam (O) Rajni (45) wife of E Rajen located at Hiyanglam Mayai Leikai under Wabagai Assembly Constituency.

The grenade however did not explode.

Though the Police have been informed about the incident, they are yet to turn up till 10.30 pm, according to a source.
