Imphal, January 02 2008: A BRIEF account on achievement of the Imphal west district police said during the year 2008, a total of 91 underground activists killed, 343 arrested and 83 of them detained under NSA.

During the same period, a total 88 arms of different brands with 989 around of ammunitions with a sum of Rs.1,92,280 in cash were recovered and a total of 3495 cases related with motor vehicle Act were registered with the collection of Rs.2,22,500 as fine, the statement of the Imphal west SP L Kailun said today.
