Imphal, April 01 2009: United Christian Women Manipur (UCWM), Langol Housing Complex has pledged support to the general strike called by the JAC constituted against the killing of SDO Kishan and his staff.

Condemning that killing, the body demanded the State Government and NSCN (IM) to give befitting punishment without any delay.

The women union also urged the general public to maintain peace and communal harmony in the State.
