Imphal, April 06 2009: Condemning the killing of J Khating, Phalee villagers urged the concerned group or individual to clarify on the motive of his killing.

A joint press release issued by the presidents of Phalee village headman, Phalee Youth Organisation and Phalee Shanao Long also demanded the law enforcing agencies to book the culprits and give befitting punishment at the earliest.

Khating, a veteran politician and a social worker was a man who sacrificed his life for Naga cause, the release remembered.
