Kohima, February 26 2009: Out of four hand grenades, two each lobbed by unidentified armed persons at two different block offices of the Congress party, one of the bombs exploded today.

According to police report, two hand grenades were hurled at the Thoubal BCC office located near Thoubal DC office at around 6.40 pm today.

In the attack, one of the grenades exploded, though there is no report of any human casualty.

In the second attack, two more hand grenades were also hurled at the Nambol BCC office located near Nambol PS at around 6.45 pm today.

None of the bomb, however, exploded and the same have been retrieved by the police.
