Imphal, March 18 2010: Identities of the two persons slain in a shoot-out with 21 Para Troopers at near New Tolen village of Chandel district in the wee hours of March 17 have been established today.

The deceased duo include Moirangthem Ingo alias Nongleiba (30) s/o N Rameswar of Kongpal Ningthoubung and Laiphrakpam Probin alias Jack (17) s/o L Ingo of Churachandpur Awang Laibung.

It is pertinent to add that a PRO IGAR (S) statement issued yesterday had indicated that the victims might be SS 2nd Lt Nongleiba and SS Cpl Jack of the PLA.

Respective family members have claimed the bodies after completion of post mortem at RIMS morgue today.
